A Fight to Save Mothers
In the New York Times today their is a video report of a lady we used to work with in Africa. She is a midwife, former Foreign Minister and former First Lady.Roxy was able to assist her in the delivery of a baby at her hospital one time. The things one sees there are incredible.
Roxy also had her prenatal appointments for Thor in this hospital.
Click here for part 1 of the video. It's in the video section a scroll and a half down the main page today. Then click on A Fight to Save Mothers. There is a second part called Mothers at Risk. You have to search for it.

President's Day
This James Dean impersonator was HLA Class President 1993. He survived impeachment proceedings for organizing the much publicized Risbrudt sit-in of '93. Of course I voted to impeach.

Clearification
I like history. I'd definitely like to wait before I really get into it, just let it age a little bit.

Funnies
Two things recently heard from the lips of Jane around the house:
"I can smell the pupcakes." -on the cupcakes almost being baked
"The thing I don't like about Jimmy Joots is that he always brings the game Settlers to our house." -out of the blue while we were playing Settlers
"Thor, you're going to Hollywood!" -to her brother after he was singing a lttle diddy

The Haka
New Zealand's Rugby team the All Blacks (the New York Yankees of Rugby) taunt their opponents by doing the Haka before each match. This tradition needs to be brought to NFL sidelines before the national anthem.
